Chinese immigration has ten hitherto regarded by the United Italis Government, it is probable that they would make

alteration of their law with a view to facilitate it. At all svoult

it would not be desirable to

complicate the correspondence rexpecting the proposed convention by introducing into it the question of Chinese migration.

When once the Convention acto British emigration is settled, the
